UPHOLSTERY
FRAME AND SPRING construction is warranted to be free of defects due to faulty materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product under normal residential care and use. This warranty is only valid to the original owner as long as the furniture is upholstered in its original fabric. For slipcovered furniture, this is the fabric that covers the base of the piece.
FABRICS are traditionally NOT guaranteed against wear, fading or shrinking because fabrics are used in various settings. Manufacturers offer a limited warranty on all fabrics. Fabrics are warranted for a period of one year against defective material or workmanship as well as unusual wear resulting from normal residential use and care. This warranty does not cover wear, fading, shrinkage, or stretching, which can occur with normal use of most fabrics. Fabric damage or failure due to aforesaid chemical treatments, heavy soiling, or improper cleaning are not covered.
CUSHION Manufacturers warrant all cushion cores not to collapse for the lifetime of the product as originally upholstered under normal residential care and use. All foams and filling materials will soften and conform to the shape of the users; this is considered normal and is not a defect.
SEAMS are reinforced by using the latest technology in sewing. Any defects in workmanship should appear within the first year of usage. Therefore, we are confident to warrant our seams to be free of defects due to faulty workmanship for a period of one year under normal residential care and use.
MECHANISMS Manufacturers warrant sleeper, rocker and recliner mechanisms (all metal parts) to be free of defects for three years from the date of purchase. The limited warranty on mechanisms does not include damage due to transportation or “jumping” on. Innerspring sleeper mattresses are warranted to be free of defects for five years under normal residential use.
Upholstery is made of naturally variable raw materials. Differences in texture, color, or appearance among textiles and leather are not within the control of the manufacturer nor considered defects under the Limited Warranty. Natural color changes, exposure to extreme temperature changes and direct sunlight may cause color changes and/or surface damage and are not covered by this Limited Warranty. Leather is particularly subject to variations in color and markings, and such variations are not covered by this warranty.
CASEGOODS Manufacturers warrant their wood products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Wood furniture is made of naturally variable raw materials. Differences in grain character and color among wood species are naturally occurring variations and are not within the control of the manufacturer nor considered defects under the warranty. Natural color changes, exposure to extreme temperature changes and direct sunlight may cause color changes and/or surface damage and are not covered by this warranty.
Power supplies and other electronically related components are warranted by each respective manufacturer and are excluded from this Limited Warranty.
RUGS Manufacturers warrant their rugs to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
LIGHTING Manufacturers warrant their lamps for one (1) year from date of purchase.
ADDITIONAL TERMS Products in which any of the defects described in these warranties occur will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturers option. If repair or replacement is not practical, at the option of the manufacturer, alternate financial remuneration may be paid or the product may be substituted. This remedy is exclusive and we do not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with this product.
PLEASE NOTE: This Limited Warranty applies under conditions of normal residential usage only and does not apply to defects or damage resulting from (a) negligence, abuse, or misuse; (b) inadequate or improper maintenance, cleaning, or care; (c) exposure to chemicals and/or liquids; (d) accidents; (e) any use for which the product was not designed. Damages that occur while moving to another residence are excluded.
This Limited Warranty applies only when you purchase from Mobilia or Four Corners Home.
This Limited Warranty does not cover (a) floor samples or products designated “AS IS” at the time of purchase; (b) differences between floor samples or differences from printed illustrations, video, or Internet displays.
